Newquay & the Atlantic coast
Gates and railings in Newquay
Metal gates and balcony, terrace and garden railings for Newquay homes, guest houses and holiday lets, built to stand up to the Atlantic weather.
Railings for sea-view terraces and balconies
Newquay is built along the cliffs, and many homes, apartments and guest houses have a balcony, roof terrace or raised patio facing the sea. The railings around them need to be safe, strong and easy to see through.
We make balcony and terrace railings to measure, from plain galvanised guard railings around a roof terrace to decorative railings with twisted bars for a period guest house. We also make driveway and garden gates for homes around the town and out towards St Columb and Crantock.

Salt spray is the enemy
Few places in Cornwall are harder on metalwork than a Newquay clifftop. Wind-driven salt spray finds any weak spot in a finish. For Newquay we recommend hot-dip galvanising as standard, painted over if you want a colour. A galvanised finish protects the steel even where the paint is damaged.
For guest houses and holiday lets, where railings must meet Building Regulations and get heavy use, we design guarding to the required heights and gaps and build it to last.
